WALT:  Follow the sequence of Narrative writing

Title:The Wolves

Deep throughout the woods on a humid sunny afternoon.  A little girl with brown hair along with green eyes named Koda got sent off to pick blueberries for her family.   Quickly she set off for the berries.  As she walked off an old man named Feddie with snow white hair, with bright turquoise eyes was enjoying a cup of tea just before getting ready to journey out deep in the woods to collect firewood.  Meanwhile Koda was jogging away deeper in the woods searching for a good blueberry plant to pick.  Koda spotted a nice blueberry plant appearing in the distance when she finished picking the blueberry plant she saw an animal.  It turned out to be a WOLF with raf gray fur and red eyes.  Koda had fallen into its den.

Koda was terrified of wolves and her heart froz .  Koda’s mind went blank. When her memory went back and she tried to think of something quick.  Couple seconds later she finally thought of something.  Running away wouldn’t be a good idea however it was the only thing she could think of.  Koda dropped all her blueberries and started sprinting away.  She stopped because there was a hole and the wolf casually went closer.  Koda started yelling “help!!! help!!!”

Now there was another problem: she got exhausted.  She had been in the exact same spot for two whole minutes.  Then she realized that the whole time she could have just gone on the other side of the hole that she had been standing by for almost three minutes.  Koda decided it was a fantastic idea and it worked when the wolf fell into the whole.  Half an hour later she heard a weird sound that she thought was a chain saw so Koda followed the noise.  It turned out to be Freddie collecting his firewood.  Freddie asked Koda “do you want to come home with me?” Koda replied “absolutely.” She never told anyone what she had been through.

What I liked about my writing

• I learnt a lot about writing and how to make it better

• I could use my imagination 

• I had heaps of ideas

What I need to improve in

• Write my speech conversations probably  

• Improve my proof-reading skills

• Stay focused and on task for longer periods
